That’s why we are no longer wonder why there are so many products that made in china. In Divisoria, there are a lots of products with label “Made in China” and some of us or maybe all of us have had experience of buying in divisoria. Also, China has a big impact in our economy. In 2016, President Rodrigo Duterte was the host in East Asean and he said that, “The only hope of the Philippines economically, I’ll be frank with you, is China”. He said it when he announced the seperation of Philippines with the United States in terms of military and economically.With all of these informations, researchers came up with a case study about behavior of Filipinos with products that has label “Made in China”. Products with label “Made in China” can be seen everywhere. People don’t notice that China’s products have a big portion in the Philippines’ market. Based on Philippine Statistics Authority, in May 2017, China is the biggest source of imports that a peecentage of 19.2.Everyone of us have experience with the quality of China’s product and we all know that it is not that durable. Yes it is cheaper but it doesn’t have the same quality with the branded. We are just buying it because we need it and it is affordable. Chinese is very straight to the point when they are speaking, every word that you will say they will take it seriously so be careful with the words that you will choose when your are talking to your chinese manufacturer. You can use photos when you are talking to your supplier, it will help you to illustrate your points. Stigma is also one of the reasons why business owners don’t want to get their products that is made in china because they all know that customers have a negative opinion in terms of the products that are made in china.Some customers are not patronizing product that has label “Made in China” even though it has a low cost. Hunt-Iowa State (2016) said that China product gets bad reputations because of imitating some products with low price. People used to think that those products have also low quality and easy to shatter and they always say that China’s product is fake. Because we are used with the idea that, when a product is expensive, it is genuine and has a longer life. Yu (2017) said that China has not produced a cheaper product. People used to say that China’s product is fake because of some issue spread in social media. Chinese factory is not only producing poor quality of product. Yu (2017) said the competitiveness of China is growing in terms in high-tech manufacturing. Three Chinese smartphones brands Huwei, Oppo and Vivo are now in the third, forth and fifth rank largest smartphone suppliers in the world.Emelie Anderson (2016) found out the behavior of other country with the product of China, quality is not the reason why they considered to be negativity on the products of China, but then the name of company is considered for it. Employee of Sweden are not considered to slander the product of China but according to their own experiences and also mentioned that the previous household purchases are affect by their product to customers’ satisfaction. It only means that customers don’t purchase the product if they already tried it and proven it to themselves what kind of quality the product has.Omid Olfati(2016) found out that the Iranian consumers attitudes toward product of China is not positive,they need to improve more the product they are selling. Because China’s product is not that expensive, it doesn’t have the same quality as the quality of branded. This means that products that are made in China don’t last longer because of the kind of material that was used in the product. According to global performance management (2015), consumers in the Philippines who are willing to pay for more sustainable products and services still rising. Nine (9) out of Ten (10) or 86% of Filipino consumers said that they are willing to pay more for their desire products and services that comes from a very well-known companies. Health and Wellness is one of the sustainability factor that will be a possibly influences Filipinos to buy a product. When a product was made comes from a fresh, natural, and organic ingredients will surely have a big impact to every Filipino consumers. 74% filipinos say that health and wellness has a very heavy influence when it comes in buying decision. 77% of the respondents from the survey that conducted by the global performance management said that trust in the brand is the major influencer when consumer buys a product. At the same time, environmentally friendly packaging of a product also a big influences to consumers according to the 60% of the respondents from the survey.This study will provide a brief information on the perception of many filipino customers in terms of buying products that has a label of “Made in China”. The proposed study will provide many preferences that will guide the customers when buying product that is made in China. For them to become more knowledgeable about the product that they are usually buying.Also, this study will be very beneficial for the future researchers that is planning to conduct a study that is similar to the researcher’s topic. This paper will guide them to create an interesting study and that will help them to have information about customers’ behavior when they are buying a product that has a label of “Made in China”.This study will show the behavior of Filipinos towards the products labeled “Made in China”. Specifically, it described the preferences of Filipino customers and retailers in buying product that has a label of “Made in China” and reasons of customers why they still patronize the product that has a label of “Made in China”.This conceptual framework shows how Filipino customers/retailers sees the product with label “Made in China”. And whether the perception of customers have something to do with his behavior when purchasing the product. Would a customer patronize the product labeled “Made in China” or not. This study will show what is the effect of product with label “Made in China” in the behavior of Filipino customers.
